The Daily Post’s weekly challenge for this week is titled “Afloat” – find it here!
I gathered this challenge to be by interpretation: what does afloat mean to you? So I ran with the idea.
When I think of the word “afloat” I think of balloons. When I think of balloons, I think of events at work. So some context.
At my college I work as a Student Ambassador, or a tour guide for the school. Whenever we host big events like open houses or accepted students days we get A TON of balloons and put them all over campus. We refer to this as balloon duty. Every event I’ve been on balloon duty I’ve HAD to take a picture with my group of balloons. So they are below, and that is my interpretation for “afloat!”
